Requiring Medical Travel Insurance was much easier than I first envisaged. Once I decided on the best Insurance Co. to go with as many Travel Insurance Co.'s won't give you just Medical. I certainly 'shopped around', spoke to many people and they all said '1Cover'.....Price was right, explained every detail, helped me immensely with filling out the forms etc. I was more than pleased..

1Cover was the only insurer I found would cover all my pre-existing conditions - well minus a skin excision procedure for nonmalignant basal cell carcinoma but considering I have had a triple bypass that was minor.
Otherwise no issues with applying and nothing with any claims as we have not made any. The only two minor incidents I had resulted in a payout of about $69 after excess of $100 on each so I never bothered with claiming.

I've been insuring for travel for a number of years with 1Cover. I think it is a very good idea to offer a no claims bonus after a certain number of times a customer hasn't made any claims. I see an advantage in customers returning to 1Cover, AND less chance of a customer making a bogus claim.
Please renumerate me if this splendid idea is going to be practiced through this/my advise. A nice trip to one of the islands, with free travel insurance would be most welcome, looking forward to a reply,

1. The document is very well written. Clear and precise. Written as if the writer understood what the reader would like to know. This was a major factor in us choosing this product.
2. The $20 reward for referring a friend should also apply to me, if I purchase travel insurance again.
3. It is not easy to print or email the policy document. e.g. I want to email to another address so as to print a 2 sided document.

We have used 1Cover several times now, and have always had a positive experience. This year we unfortunately had to cancel our intended overseas travel for health reasons, and found 1Cover very helpful to deal with. We recommend the company as one that honours its responsibility as an insurer.

My only problem with 1cover is that they wouldn't cover myself or my husband for medical insurance due to our ages, over 80, and we only have minor health issues, so I worried a bit whilst on holiday overseas incase one of us had an accident, but luckily no, and again didn't need to claim on anything.

Easy and simple online process which took about 5 mins. Only suggestion would be to make exempt medical conditions more clear (e.g. asthma), ended up having to call about it.
