Annual Travel Insurance is for frequent travellers. An annual travel insurance policy covers you for any number of international or domestic trips for a 12 month period. Annual policies aren't designed for long-term travel, but provide you with cover for multiple short term trips over the space of a year.
With an annual travel insurance policy, you won’t have to buy travel insurance for every trip, saving you time and potentially saving you money.
Annual travel insurance policies have different maximum trip duration limits, and you choose from three different options. Depending on which policy you choose, you’ll have a maximum number of days you can spend overseas per trip.
You also have the option of an annual domestic travel insurance policy or an annual overseas travel insurance policy. An overseas policy will cover you for both domestic and overseas trips.
Below is a summary of a few key benefits, which are all subject to the terms and conditions. All benefits listed below are subject to terms and conditions within the Policy Wording.
Take as many trips as you want for 12 months and you'll be covered by your annual policy. See Policy Wording for details.
Plans can change over a year and you may have to cancel or switch things around. We’ve got you covered for cancellation fees or lost deposits.
If you travel more than once a year, an annual policy may work out to be out to be the most cost-effective option for you.
Annual policies are available for both overseas and domestic travellers, so you won't pay more than you need to.
There are three annual policy types to choose from designed to suit different trip lengths, plus a range of optional extras.
If you take a lot of family holidays, add your kids and grandkids (ie. your dependants) to your annual policy for no additional cost. See the Policy Wording for details.
Add your spouse or partner to your Annual/Frequent Traveller policy and ensure you're both covered on your trips through the year.
If you’re only going on multiple trips to one destination, then only pay for insurance to that region/area.

For travellers who tend to take shorter trips throughout the year. Each individual trip you take under your policy will need to be under 21 days long.
If your trips are between 3 to 6 weeks. Each individual trip you take under your policy will need to be under 45 days long.
This is the most flexible option, especially if you can't predict how long each trip might be. Each individual trip you take under your annual policy will need to be under 90 days long.
**If your trip is longer than the policy option you initially select (i.e 21, 45, 90 days), then you'll need to buy another single-trip policy to cover that trip.

- cancellation and lost deposits. This is provided in case you have to cancel your plans due to unforeseen circumstances outside of your control. We also cover Alternative Travel Expenses.
