1 cover have a broad policy that they wouldnt cover events in the media or pandemic/epidemic. We booked our travel cover way before corona had even started to become an issue. World Nomads would have covered us in this instance so probably consider them in future.

We paid $ 600+ for our coverage for a trip to Peru. The travel company cancelled the trip due to the danger of Covid-19 (very low in at the moment in all countries we travel through!!) and now we do not have cover, even while we got the insurance way before the outbreak. Now we loose the premium (paid for no cover), extra booked excursions cancellation fees and the cost of our air tickets. A total of US$ 3000. THANKS VERY MUCH 1 COVER.
We always had you as insurer for our travels, but bthis is obviously the last time. It is a pure rip-off.
I can nderstand you have no cover if a outbreak has occurred, but not if there is nothing on.

I have a medical condition and most of the travel insurance companies would automatically decline to insure my condition including 1Cover. I have always use this company in the past and now since 1Cover are covering my condition, it's a bonus for me! I will still continue to use them.

I have GP visits as I was unwell , I claimed it but it was rejected , I understood that we could claim for medical expenses but they referred me to terms and conditions and told this occasion it is exclusion

Travel Insurance is a must - but at this point in time it will not be of any benefit to us if our overseas trip for which we have already paid $40000 is cancelled because of Coronavirus :(

Great company
Having confidence in a company that they will deliver when you are in trouble. I've had to use my insurance after an accident on another trip, knowing that they are actually there if you need them is a bit part of having a great holiday

Last year while on a family cruise in America my husband went into heart failure. 1 Cover were so helpful and everything so straight forward. We felt they went over and above the call of duty. We decided to go visit our family in Switzerland again this year and inspite of our problems last year they were very happy to insure us again ( at a cost of course! )and the same good service was received. I can thoroughly recommend 1 Cover.
