1Cover offers good value comprehensive travel insurance - I have been using it for years and never bother chasing other quotes. The only time I need to make a claim, which was a small medical claim, the 1Cover people were very helpful and the claim was paid promptly. It has an easy to use web site. Keep an eye out for special deals.

We received efficient service in taking up the policy for our recent travel, and were pleased to receive an emailed offer of an extension of the policy, should we need to extend our stay away. We did not need this, but it is good that 1Cover offers this opportunity while people may be needing to alter their return date.

As we have "existing conditions" in our family, we do have to supply medical records , as expected... But that was all, Usually we would have at least a 30 minute question / answer dialog phone call, every trip. But we have been told this is not required for "1cover" All that stress gone. We are delighted.

Would be good to be able to print a small travel side card (like an eftpos card) to put in your wallet instead of an A4 piece of paper with all the details readily available. Better than traveling with too many large documents.

Dealing with a throat abscess in isolated Canada- 1cover supported me through 2 medical flights, 3 nights in hospital, CAT scan, and recovery accommodation. Now that I've actually had to file a claim on my policy, I can report that 1Cover provides an excellent service. Easy to reach, fast, friendly service and prompt payment. My only minor gripe is I wish that they'd paid the benefit at the same (documented) exchange rate I'd had to pay at the time I purchased the covered service.
