We had reached almost completed bookings for one trip and some bookings for another later in the year when we discovered that my wife had developed terminal lung cancer and all bookings had to be cancelled.We were most impressed by the sympathetic and courteous treatment we received from 1Cover when we made a claim for the residual non refundable amounts from the bookings and the prompt payment of the full claim.

1 Cover is our trusted company for overseas and domestic travel insurance. We did need to make a claim due to a trip planned to Bali during one of the volcano eruptions. The settlement was very fair and comprehensive from meals to flights and accommodation. Our recent 5 day trip to Fiji was covered for less than $60 for the two of us.

Whilst being in Bali 2/4 people we have cover for had gotten Bali belly and needed medical assistance. 1cover made it super easy when I called them to see if we were covered and once we placed the claim in within a few days had gotten back to us with it approved. It was simple and easy no hassle everything you want when your over seas! Didn’t need to stress at all!!

I have used 1Cover several years, after reading Consumer NZ recommended them as a company suited to my needs; and always they have been cooperative and easy to deal with. I have only needed to make one claim, which presented no problems at all. I don't shop around as I think their rates are competitive.
