I spend about 3 weeks of my holidays with administration work, to put the claim in. I had the impression nobody took the time to look at the documents and sent prefabricated letter again. When somebody looked at the documents (I send 3 times) the answer was swift and the money paid out in a very short time. Well done, but the beginning was not good.

Submitted all paperwork to make a claim online and heard from 1Cover within the timeframe stipulated. That was all that was needed and they said it was covered and received payment in time frame said again. Easy to deal with.

Recently my daughter travelled from New Zealand to China for a holiday with me (I currently live and work there). While organising all of her travel arrangements, I spent several days researching different travel insurers, including my family's normal insurer. I discovered that 1Cover offered the most comprehensive cover for China and Asia, at a substantially lower rate than every other insurer I looked at (And I looked at many, many insurers). Fortunately my daughters China holiday passed without incident, so I never had cause to claim on her insurance, but it really did give me absolute comfort and peace of mind to know that she was protected for the entire time from the moment she left her home in New Zealand to the moment she arrived back there.
Therefore I absolutely, without hesitation, recommend 1Cover to people travelling abroad, especially here to China. Not much really to say except, I will always get Travel Insurance prior to overseas travel. I always feel secure in knowing I have it, anything can happen or go wrong. Great cover, great price 👍

Very easy to buy cover and a lot of pre-existing conditions are covered. Filling out the claim form took far far longer than the claimed 10 minutes. But, they paid promptly.

While abroad in Fiji for a wedding my son had some belongings stolen including a phone and items of clothing. We claimed for these the day after we returned home and within 24 hours 1cover had accepted our claim and had paid out within 7 days. All I can say is excellent product at a competitive price and AAA rating on your claims process. Well done 1Cover team.

I'd had an allergic reaction to something which to this day remains a mystery. I received great support from 1-Cover emergency care rep to get a consultation, but was unable to make effective contact with medical support staff in the country I was visiting. So, great advice and support from 1-Cover, but not so good from Australian Doctors offices. Luckily I didnt die from the hives in my throat, aye Aussies!!
