I have used 1Cover twice now for our trips overseas. This is such an easy process, just takes a minute. We are very fortunate that we have not had to make a claim whilst travelling so cannot comment on the process there but I am sure it would be a simple process.

I think the insurance agreement should be included in the confirmation email. This being an overview of everything I am entitled to, this was how it used to be with 1Cover they would send you a full description of your cover...now it’s literally a one pager and that to me comes across as misleading. For this reason I will consider using another provider in the future

I found the whole process very easy - both applying for the insurance, and then making a claim. There was no hassle at all and the claim was accepted and paid out on quickly. It was an excellent experience for me and I am continuing to use 1Cover for my future trips.

My husband has had two knee replacements which we always declare under 'existing conditions'. 1Cover had an easy application process and did not charge an unreasonable excess to cover him. This made them great value for money.

Well what can I say other that knowing I had 1Cover insurance during my East African adventure and my successful climb to the top of Africa Uhuru 5985m.at age 70, I didn't make a claim and despite the fact that I was unhappy about the higher premium owing to the fact that I had 2 titanium hips and a mechanical aortic heart valve, I thoroughly enjoyed the trip knowing that I was covered just in case something happened. I definitely be using 1Cover again.

I found the process of buying insurance and knowing what I was getting straightforward, including getting medical cover for pre existing conditions.
When I had to make a claim while overseas, it was easy and processed / paid out quicker than the timeline given.
The one thing I thought was missing was a definition for ‘essential items’ - I had to claim for this when my luggage was delayed and was unsure how to know what was deemed essential. As it turned out my full claim was accepted anyway (clothing, makeup, accessories like sunglasses, etc).
