Fortunately I did not have to claim anything from my insurance provider. I was impressed how easy it was, as an older person, with a minimum of fuss, to get insurance cover at a third of the cost compared with another provider. I have used 1 Cover before and will do so again.

I was previously robbed while on holiday in Vietnam in 2015. As long as I had proof of purchase/ownership, my claims arrived between 7-10 days after processing & I didn't even had to pick up the phone to hassle anyone.
1Cover also has one of the cheapest rates. However, depending what your travel entails, I would recommend checking them out to ensure you get the most out of it when you need it.

The attention my original enquiry received was excellent the lady I spoke to was very obliging and informative.The one word of caution I would offer to all potential clients is do not limit / or another way of saying this is be stingy, in deciding on what cover to buy - I had some concerns on my last trip when I experienced a really heavy cold and really didn't feel like flying for 11 hours back to NZ on the last day - the problem was I took health cover only and the changes to my ticket would have been quite excessive - so I came home.This is the third time I have bought insurance from 1Cover and will certainly return when the need arises.

On a recent trip I managed to cause some damage to the rental car we had and hadn’t taken out any car insurance with the company as the 1 cover policy had a rental car excess cover. Thank you! The claim process was basically just two emails and done! What a breeze, awesome service.

I have used this insurance company for travel insurance and have needed to extend my policy several times. This was made easy by a quick response to my needs. The cost of the product is much more user friendly than its competitors. I have not made a claim for anything yet. But if they make it as pain free as the service provided to me from overseas, then I will be more impressed.

It’s easy to set up online and get your cover and an email at the end of the period in case you need to extend. I will use again. I never had an accident or got sick so have no idea if 1Cover are good or bad in that regard.

Always pleased to have a trip with no issues so no need to make a claim but reassuring to have had cover for just in case. I have relied on 1 Cover for a number of overseas travels but to date only had to claim for delayed baggage (arrived 48hrs later); payment for the clothes and toiletries I bought to cover this period was dealt with promptly.

My experience with 1 Cover was just a simple phone call to their 0800 Number and “Voila!” I explained my travel requirements for myself and a friend and just like that we were fully covered.... without hesitation! Paid there and then by credit card. It was that simple and quick.
