What If My Pet is sick and I need to cancel my trip?

Unfortunately, your pet’s illness would not be covered in this situation. However, we do offer benefits for domestic pet services whilst you are overseas. We will reimburse you up to:

  1. $25 for each 24 hour period for additional kennel, boarding or cattery fees for domestic dogs and cats owned by you if you are delayed overseas beyond your original return date due to an event covered under this policy.

  2. $400 if your pet suffers an injury during your overseas journey and requires veterinary treatment, provided that at the time of the injury, your pet was in the care of a relative or boarding kennel.
