NZ government advice for El Salvador

When travelling to El Salvador, you should always get travel insurance in case the worst happens. To help you ensure you travel safely, we have included the travel advice from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade for El Salvador.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade is not issuing a specific travel advisory for El Salvador at this time.

New Zealanders travelling or resident in El Salvador should have comprehensive medical and travel insurance policies in place that include provision for medical evacuation by air.
 
New Zealanders travelling or living in El Salvador are encouraged to register their details with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
