You'll always meet someone somewhere who will tell you they travelled overseas and didn't get vaccinations for travel and were fine, just as you will always meet someone who didn't get travel health insurance with not a thing going wrong. It is imperative you discuss your overseas travel plans fully with your travel vaccination centre or doctor, plus any existing medical conditions and allergies, in order for them to give the most accurate advice and treatment.
